He was also lead vocalist and guitarist in his band 'MirrorView' ( formerly 'Chairmen Of The Bored' - COTB ) and performed with the band 'Death By Audio'

Chairmen of the Bored are a 3 piece band and were established in June 2002 by the current line up of BenGerrard (More famously known as Cameron in Hollyoaks on Vocals and Guitar), JamesRobinson (Bass, Vocals) and Owen Beard (Drums). 
They supported WHITMORE on a nationwide tour at the end of 2003 and try to fit in touring and gigs between Ben's filming commitments in Hollyoaks.
Due to legal problems they changed their name to Mirrorview in 2007. After extensive touring and recording they finally disbanded in 2009.
